Mundra Port in Gujarat sits about 1,200 km by road from Punjab's rice belt — the shortest inland-truck distance to any Indian deep-sea port. Once your PO and advance are received, the timeline is roughly:

Day 1–7: Paddy procurement, milling to your spec, in-house lab QC, packaging.
Day 8–10: Loading on trucks, GPS-tracked transit Punjab → Mundra/Pipavav.
Day 11–13: Arrival at port, container booking confirmed, fumigation chamber slot booked.
Day 14–15: Container picked from yard, taken to fumigation point, fumigated for the required hours.
Day 16: Stuffing — 25 kg or 50 kg bags hand-loaded with proper layering, dunnage, and silica sachets if required. Container is sealed in your buyer's presence (or our agent's on your behalf), and stuffing photos are emailed within 24 hours.
Day 17–18: Customs clearance, port-side inspection, B/L issuance.
Day 18–25: Vessel cut-off, container loaded onboard, vessel sails. Telex release or original B/L sent on payment of balance.

For an FOB buyer, the moment of risk is when the container leaves your supplier's control and is sealed at port.
